Batangas Roadtrip Photo Ops

That face. . . when asked by your parents to go out of town with them knowing no one the same age as yours would join the trip. Oh well, it was a business trip after all and my mom would have no one to talk to so I agreed to come. It turned out to be an interesting trip after all.
I didn't drive all the way to Batangas. How I wish. So the frustrated fashion blogger in was supported by my very cooperative mother hence the outfit shots. I'm I digging the jock-ey kind of look? LOL!
Oh, I did miss comfort dressing. It has been ages since I last wore a pair of jeans, sneakers, varsity jacket or even a cap. In short, it has been corporate attires for such a long time. Skirt, long sleeves, blazers; it'll by fashion statement for forever because of my job and sometimes it won't hurt to dress down.

To my lovely mother/travel buddy/food partner/photographer, may I have more road trips with you? :)
How about you? When was the last time you hit the road just for fun? Summer's near. Better plan for a long and fun road trip to the farthest beach :)

Pinnacle

While browsing through my files and trying to clear the mess in my computer, I stumbled upon these photos. I suddenly missed Davao and my boyfriend who took these.

I remembered waking up excited in the morning knowing that I'll be spending another day with him, meeting my friends at school, hanging out with my TRIMMOC buddies either at the beach or in the mountains (but mostly at the machine shop, drinking. LOL!) and occasionally attending social media events with my dear blogger friends. #nostalgia it is. I'm missing Davao badly :(

I also missed staying up late and just pigging out or driving around the city. Blabbering.

One of my many wonderful afternoons in Davao. I think we just got to the mall, asked him to take my picture (ehem! frustrated fashion blogger. . .) before hitting the mall.

I even missed Pinnacle Hotel. Haha! I can't wait to come back and maybe I can stay there and have my picture taken this time with Gaisano Mall as my background :)

Who's feeling nostalgic like me? :)

White Rose

Can you remember the very first bouquet of flowers that was offered to you by your significant other or by someone special? I don't. It was so long ago but I think it was on the very romantic Valentine's day when I was in elementary. It was the "awww. . . so sweet" moment of every girl.

I've got 3 red roses which I assume to signify "I love you" and that's all I can remember.

Fast forward to the in-a-relationship-me, I've never really been a fan of flowers. I'm the card type of person because it's more personalized and creative.

Girls would often receive flowers on the very special occasions and that's an SOP for their partners. Receiving flowers make women feel beautiful, special, appreciated and even loved.

Here comes an ordinary day from a freshly molded relationship and my boyfriend hands over a White Rose when he picked me home. That awww-moment when your not expecting to receive a flower. Before I could even say "thank you," I just said "What is this for?" with my smile almost reaching my ears. He just know how to make an ordinary day so special that I've been more appreciative of that flower.

When he told me that it signifies the purity of his intentions, I was just swept of my feet. You see not all people may like flowers and not prefer to receive one, but given by the right person at the right timing it becomes a very memorable moment. In my case, I always get one when I least expect it. Some people sure know how to make a surprise.

Now that Christmas is fast approaching, a birthday of someone you like, or even just an ordinary day which you want to make special try visiting this website:

To make your own awww-moment with someone, depend on one of the most reliable online flower shop in the country. I'll bet she'd appreciate an unexpected flower right in front of her doorstep. For a fast and reliable fresh flower deliver, visit Philflora.com

You'll be the one to make up a person's ordinary day special, they'll do the arrangement :)

Watson's 3-Day Sale (Last Day) Haul

Who wouldn't take advantage of this BIG, BIG sale? Not me! Been busy during the first two days but I made sure to visit a Watson's branch during the last day of SALE!!! I also did not forget to drag my mother with me. After hearing the mass and having lunch, we attacked Watson's MOA branch and here's our loot.

I knew there were Christmas loot bags ready for shoppers but Ms. Cashier just didn't give them until I asked for it. She placed all of the things we bought in one plastic bag. Anyways, I'm glad to have all of these; it's such a great deal.

I tried to find products that I need and bumped into the stockings section, taaadaah! :) Since our uniforms already changed from Taupe to Dark Blue, I've already purchased Gray stockings, farewell Skintone! Oro is one of my most trusted brands. It's affordable and long-lasting.

Php 65 for these hygiene kits. The practical shopper in my mom tried to compute how much would all product prices combined in the kit would cost if bought separately. Aswer: Php 100++ Geez, another great buy.

A liter of Lander lotion for only Php 209 (I think), Celeteque products (10% discount) to add to my skin care line collection and Maybelline pore eraser (something new I want to try).

This only cost Php 16 each from an almost Php 50 price. This'll fit in all my pouches. Perfect moisturizer for an on-the-go application.

Watson's own baby bath soap which I SOAPer love (almost finished with my 2nd bottle). Glad this was sold on a Buy 1, Take 1 promo. Happy me :)

Parent's loot. Expected to pay for what I'll get but then again my mom paid for all of these. I've been visiting Watson's often to buy stuff I need and want . . .a lot of them. I've been thinking of making product reviews. Soon :)

Php 1790.90for all of these instead of Php 2229 plus 10x points for my advantage card. I feel like I won a shopping battle. Haha!

Most items were sold with a discount and some was for Buy 1, Take 1 promo. To those who dropped by, I know you were a happy shopper, too. At times like this, it won't hurt to splurge especially if you'll be getting great savings. How about you? What did you purchase during Watson's 3-day sale? :)

Project Hygiene Kit: Save a Life with Your One Hundred Pesos (Php 100/ $2.5)

A  week passed since Super Typhoon Yolanda hit the Philippines and the devastation it caused us is still immeasurable. It's saddens me to watch the news and know that some weren't able to experience relief efforts yet but it's more heartbreaking to just watch and do nothing.

Our initial efforts are not sustainable, they will run out but nevertheless let's do what we could and help save more lives in the way that we can. They've been crying that they survived the typhoon but they might die because of hunger and insanitary surroundings. Aside from all the food and cash donations, Davao Bloggers Association organized the Project Hygiene Kit for the victims of Typhoon Yolanda.

People of the Philippines, if you care and you're watching the news or even surfing the internet, YOU CAN HELP. There's no such thing as big time or small time help. We don't need spend much to give more. Let's just give generously and it'll mean much to our fellow Filipinos in Eastern Samar.

Loving My Looloo App

Technology has really been at its toll in making life fun, easier and more convenient. It has improved a lot  of activities and it has created a lot of new activities as well.

I remember having my first phone, I asked for it because I wanted to communicate with my highschool friends even if I'm home. It served as a tool for communication, calendar, camera, watch/alarm clock and a temporary escape for boredom (playing old school games: snakes).

The above mentioned along with internet use is now but a basic feature of smartphone/iphones. What I love about today's technology is the presence of thousands of applications (a.k.a apps) which could be useful depending on what purpose do you want it to serve. My most used apps would be a few social networking sites (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Gmail), games (Clash of Clans, Candy Crush, Hay Day, PvZ2, etc.) and Looloo.

Looloo is not one of my recent downloads. I've had it for quite sometime and I instantly fell in love with it. Here's a description from its developer "looloo is for anyone who wants to explore Manila and the rest of the Philippines! It's an ideal app for foodies, spa junkies, and nightlife lovers - anyone who loves going out." When I stumbled upon their advertisement on Facebook, I didn't hesitate installing it.

I've already entered lifestyle and food blogging so there's NO REASON for me to NOT want this application. It's like Instagram for food (and other service providers) + Facebook/Twitter + Games all in one app!

What I do with Looloo:

1. Discover

"Discovering infinite places" was the the real story behind Looloo's name. Check it HERE because I'm not making that up.

For me, Looloo has been very helpful when I'm in need to find a certain establishment, or even a new place to try. It's also nice that I can filter my search in accordance to my preference. Is it American for breakfast, Italian for lunch or Mediterranean for dinner? Let Looloo help you discover.

Another thing I enjoy from this app are the badges. It's just so tempting and challenging to collect all of them. How to do that? Just keep on discovering and visiting a lot of places and you won't even notice that you're earning them already. Fun, isn't it?

2. Review and Recommend

When trying to discover what places to try, reviews will be there to make it easier for you to pick. You can also write an honest reviews to help other looloo users land on the right decision and experience that wonderful experience.

Recommendation can be done by two ways. First, you can recommend a place to your friends which you think they'll be glad to try because you had an awesome experience yourself. Second, recommend a place to Looloo admin if you noticed that the place is not included in their database. You'd be amazed how quick and nice their work is.

How about you guys? Any interesting apps to share? If this app caught your attention, visit HERE and download your own Loooo application, proudly Pinoy! :)

#Selfie Post

Today, I'm celebrating my first anniversary as a Davao Bloggers Association member. It was exactly a year when I became part (paid the membership fee. LOL!)  of this group and appreciate every part of it.

Davao City, unlike here in Cavite, has a more organized and systematic schemes in terms of blogging events. Not only did I realize the importance of blogging in the society, I enjoyed every bit and detail of writing because of this group.

Now that I'm here in Cavite, I still get to attend some events but they're quite few and far from where I reside. Missing those days with the posi+ve peeps . .

Sel-fie, noun: 1. A strange phenomenon in which the photographer is also the subject of the photograph; 2. Usually accompanied by a kissy face or the individual looking in a direction that is not towards the camera (Source)
Back then, I get to busy with the events but now I'm only tagged by my friends as the #selfie queen. You gotta love yourself and join the bandwagon. Super missed blogging. Hope to clear all my backlogs and avoid these camwhoring activity of mine :)
