Lola's Girl

When I stated before that my mother is my number one fan, I was mistaken. Somebody bagged the title from  the day I was born up until now. This person has been the first mother to me, my first mentor, my supporter, my adviser, my protector and my best friend.

This post is dedicated to my dearest Lola. I was given away after birth and my grandmother gladly accepted to take care of me for good. For some reason after a year, my mom took me back and they brought me to Manila leaving my grandmother alone at our province.

She couldn't bare losing me so she went to Manila from time to time until she lived with us and continued taking care of me. Fast forward to the present, it was still her by my side. She's the one collecting my pictures from different events and compiling them, the one who's eager to know the latest happenings in my love life, the one who takes care of me and the one who boasts my achievements and story tells about them.

Now I'm being so sensitive. I'm okay. I'm just glad to take my grandmother to another date. As what I've said in my post here.

My boyfriend and I took her out for snacks and a movie. Simple things may bring great joys to the ones we love. I do believe that the best things in life our free. In my Lola's case I know it's just my effort, time and love <3

Spare Time, Spend Time

Lola Leony :)

Gone are the days when I could really spend enough time to bond with my Lola. College requirements have been consuming most of my time even those that are for eating and sleeping. Hence, there were times when me and Lola are at home but doesn't really converse much. To make it up to her, I brought her out for lunch and a little salon pampering treat.

A few minutes ago, I was thinking if I should entitle this post 'Max's Revisted' since I went back after the blogger's event so that I can use our complimentary tickets for '4 Sharing Meals.' I wanted to share my experience with Max's Adobong Baka sa Gata. Delicious. My partners in crime (eating) liked the new dish as well.

Manicure and pedicure at Salon De Rose

Thanks to Salon de Rose. My Lola is oh so meticulous but she loved the service because her feet went home happy. We all know that sometimes the crew can be a little bit harsh in removing cuticle and cutting the nails and the aftermath would be an aching toes.

I will always be Lola's little girl :">

 Since it's finally our semestral break, I really should do this more often. We're living under one roof but I miss hanging out with her. So near yet so far ang peg namin. Haha. 

Treat your parents and grandparents everyday and show them that they're loved and appreciated. Time runs and forever would never be enough to repay these special persons in our lives :">
