Please Help Me Welcome. . .

Oh! I'm Giddy and excited. I decided to create another blog and it's niche is - - - FOOD :) It feels great to know I've decided on where to focus and what exactly do I want to write about. I've had such a good time when it comes to food events, I eat six times a day, I want to try all food houses in the country and I want to blog all my experiences so that basically puts me in that category.

I hope you guys find time to visit:

All my foodventures and food porn experiences will now be posted to this blog ^^,

Tummy Tale's Birth

January 23rd of the year 2013 marks the birth of my food blog: Tummy Tale

I am more happy with this compared to my personal blog for I initiated the latter out of
jealousy and boredom. This time I must say that I really am ready for the commitment I
must offer to this blog. Moreover, I love food so what's not to share, right?

I may not welcome you with an Italian cream puff, Japanese sukiyaki or a Chinese noodles but instead I have these junk foods posted before your eyes. I must confess that as much as I want
to live  a very healthy lifestyle, I cannot take junk foods out of my diet.

They're cheap, delicious and convenient in times of chismisan and drinking session with your
friends. In addition, I enjoy these  when I study, when I can't sleep or even when I'm just
watching the television.  Here's to junk food junkies out there :")))

Le First Lady?

This is me a little bit pissed of because my boyfriend doesn't to take my outfit shot. Oh well, he really didn't tell me he doesn't want to but I assumed because of his sighs and deep breath when I asked him to. I never really liked that expression/response.
On the other hand, the considerate me thinks that he's just busy and pressured with all the things that happened this night.

Thisphoto was taken at the Tau Mu Fraternity Christmas party last December  2012. It was a Black and White Christmas party, I dressed up and I want my picture taken.

Okay, enough ranting. The truth is this event meant a lot to him and pressured the hell of him too. This is his first event, this must turn out really successful.

11 months ago I met this guy at  an event. We got each other's number, texted, dated and eventually got in a relationship. What an ease that we are both studying in Ateneo because we can see each other often.

He is a law student and I'm still a third year college pupil by then. You see, he just got accepted in this Fraternity - - - Tau Mu- - - and was elected as the master of the chest (treasurer for short) which got a little of his time because most of it was mine.

Fast forward to the next school year, he was elected as the Grand Archon (It's like equivalent to a president). Everything went really tricky, he was so busy and sometimes he cannot even dine with me. Arghh! to his appointments, meetings and to his frat-mates who call me "first lady."

So that's what's I'm doing taking pictures of random stuff. I like the setting of this area though. Their Christmas party was held at Hotel Tropika at Lanang. He was busy talking to different attorneys, justices and other colleagues so he assigns somebody to talk to me and sit beside me everytime he's not around.

As much as he wants to entertain me, I know he has commitments to these people. I get to understand that but the time he took his oath together with the other newly elected officers. As a matter of fact, I think he does very well as far as his position is concerned. Well, he's not just my photographer, he's their leader as well.

I stopped being sentimental before the event ends and I must say I did have a good time. BTW kudos to everyone and to the host of the event, Ma'am Fifi Degamo, a humanities pride (same division as mine) who helped made this event possible and extra special.

You see because I can't fit in to the flock of law people I just started to think and come up with a few realizations. haha :)

We're Never Bored

Nowadays, "I'm bored" is more of an expression than a cliché. I find it amusing that people cannot see that this world has endless possibilities to keep them from being bored. Allow me to blab. This is but another backlog so I don't really feel like  reviewing the restaurant.

I just decided to blog about because this was my first time to land at Bigby's and I must say I had the best impressions at the resto. Plus points for their wifi connection :)

We are food junkies but there are a lot of food chains that we haven't been to. I enjoy doing so many firsts with this guy. We don't need a fancy dinner, an extravagant vacation or a luxurious hotel suite to be happy; the mere presence of each other is enough. Yes, we see each other everyday. I'm just glad that we do not face the dilemma of not knowing what to do next.

So at Bigby's we feasted on this platter and that's the end of my discussion. I love any thing pork. Fry it, grill it, and no matter how you cook it I'd like it because it's pork. The meat itself is tender and its sauce seeped into the inner part of it. Moreover, it matches perfectly with its respective dips.

Unfortunately, I forgot what this is called and how much it cost. Though you may want to try it for yourself to gain first hand experience.

Moving on to me blabbing,  look at this crepe. What seems to be wrong is the chocolate note on in. It's not my birthday and I don't celebrate it on the first month o fthe year.  The crew came out singing happy birthday with this cake on their hand and I was just amused to react that it wasn't my birthday.

Mr. Naughty boyfriend of mine secretly told the one who got our order that it's my birthday (amalayer). And so here's  their treat for birthday celebrants. I must say it was a delicious mango crepe :)

And lastly, because mango shakes are one of my comfort drinks I must testify that they had the creamiest mango shake I've tasted so far.

Winnings

We all know that Christmas season is linked with the spirit of gift giving. It was very thoughtful of my family and friends to make an effort of giving me presents even though I'm not a little girl anymore. I appreciate it very much and I still get excited when unwrapping the gifts. And with that, I would also like to thank all the generous giveaway hosts for these lovely prizes I have received

First of, this Hodge Podge bookmark and key chain I got from Miss Beatrix.

Next are these accessories from Miss Beatrix as well.

And just recently, I got his very cute owl ring from Miss Hazel of LaceyFashionista :)

I'm glad that they just all add up to my accessories collection. Sweet :")
I know I was gone for quite some time so I'd make it up to you by
hosting some giveaways. Coming soon, please continue supporting
this blog. TFS, Pau :")

Splash of Colors

Do you know how excited it is to reward yourself after a long day’s work especially if you know you’ve exerted all effort possible just to satisfy your teachers and all the others who expect a lot from you? That’s exactly how I felt when I bought these flats. I am used to buying gifts for other and I enjoy doing it so I seldom get to have something for myself.  I’m just glad that when I decided to buy these, they were on sale. It cost me Php 450 only, this was indeed a good catch.

It must be really true that the only constant thing in this world is change. I used to be a black and white type of girl. My wardrobe rarely contains other colors apart from what I mentioned earlier. However, today you can’t imagine how much I drool over anything colorful I see. This must be my kikay phase  :)

How about you? Have you noticed some changes over the past few years?
Happy New Year.

One of the Last Few

This is but another OOTD, one I wore on one of my last few remaining "wash days" at school. 8 more Wednesdays (school days) mean 8 more chances to get into school without wearing my uniform. Time really flies because it was only like yesterday when I first attended college, gained a friend (now my best friend and my forever seatmate), gained a suitor, an achievement, a rumor, an enemy, and all other firsts I encountered in college.
Those 4 years felt like they were just a few months but what I cannot measure is the relationships I built, the friends I had and the memories we shared and most especially the experiences that I had which brought me new lessons and new perspectives.

Artwork: Shirt/Flats
Girbaud: Bag
Jag: Jeans
Bazaar Finds: Necklace

Tees, jeans, sling bags and glasses.

That's my most used clothes/things when I was a freshman. Wearing flats was an improvement because I used to wear sneakers. I dressed boyishly then but I feel comfortable. Today, I seldom wear a shirt but I still love how it functions. It's easy to pair with, comfortable and very simple :)
