Batangas Roadtrip Photo Ops

That face. . . when asked by your parents to go out of town with them knowing no one the same age as yours would join the trip. Oh well, it was a business trip after all and my mom would have no one to talk to so I agreed to come. It turned out to be an interesting trip after all.
I didn't drive all the way to Batangas. How I wish. So the frustrated fashion blogger in was supported by my very cooperative mother hence the outfit shots. I'm I digging the jock-ey kind of look? LOL!
Oh, I did miss comfort dressing. It has been ages since I last wore a pair of jeans, sneakers, varsity jacket or even a cap. In short, it has been corporate attires for such a long time. Skirt, long sleeves, blazers; it'll by fashion statement for forever because of my job and sometimes it won't hurt to dress down.

To my lovely mother/travel buddy/food partner/photographer, may I have more road trips with you? :)
How about you? When was the last time you hit the road just for fun? Summer's near. Better plan for a long and fun road trip to the farthest beach :)

Pinnacle

While browsing through my files and trying to clear the mess in my computer, I stumbled upon these photos. I suddenly missed Davao and my boyfriend who took these.

I remembered waking up excited in the morning knowing that I'll be spending another day with him, meeting my friends at school, hanging out with my TRIMMOC buddies either at the beach or in the mountains (but mostly at the machine shop, drinking. LOL!) and occasionally attending social media events with my dear blogger friends. #nostalgia it is. I'm missing Davao badly :(

I also missed staying up late and just pigging out or driving around the city. Blabbering.

One of my many wonderful afternoons in Davao. I think we just got to the mall, asked him to take my picture (ehem! frustrated fashion blogger. . .) before hitting the mall.

I even missed Pinnacle Hotel. Haha! I can't wait to come back and maybe I can stay there and have my picture taken this time with Gaisano Mall as my background :)

Who's feeling nostalgic like me? :)

Gray Areas

Talk about who's been in a hiatus for a week and I swore that I'm guilty. It has been a series of requirements to accomplish for my last semester in college. I've been spending the past week at school, coffee shops and anywhere that I may be able to work.

My thesis co-workers and I have been busy editing, proofreading and drafting the 4th and 5th chapter of the study. Fortunately, we made it through our mock defense yesterday. At last, we can be at peace while waiting for our final defense. Moreover, we would be having ample time to do the necessary revisions needed.

Bag: Marc by Marc Jacobs Metallic Tote bag
I know that we've been really loose on handling the paper but as everything comes to an end easily, we're being pressured and suddenly we wanted to do our best. You see, I wasn't really this lax type as a student and in fact I ought to strive very hard in everything academic-related when I was younger.

However, college life can be stressful. I realized that I can comply with my school works but still have a life. I want to sleep, have fun and do something else. Don't get me wrong. I have my studies prioritized above everything else; I just don't want it to get all of my attention.

Kimono Cardigan: Gift from Lola
In all fairness, with me trying to juggle a lot of activities (school, extra-curricular, work, blogging and relationship) I've learned and experienced so much that there's nothing to regret. In the future, I may look back and say that I have lived my college life completely well minus that Latin honors. At lease, I've been a consistent Dean's Lister and that's something to be proud of.

Cross Charm: Php 25 Gaisano Mall
I'm not a diligent student but I'm not a bum as well. It's not just black or white there are gray areas as well. I'm so ready to open a new phase in my life and I'm going to experience it with me being neither at the extreme ends of something or at either black or white. I want to immerse in the gray areas - - -or shall I say colorful?

Thongs: Thrifted :)
I'm leaving now with this OOTD (segway, haha) and something to burst your thought bubble.
What are your thought? Plans? Expectations? Experiences?
I hope your considering to explore your gray areas.

Oh! and please join my ongoing giveaway:

Here Comes the Sun

Hello Summer! I'm feeling you.
A quick post for everyone.
This ensemble is something I wore last Christmas break.
There's a chilly feeling at night but I can't deny the fact that
at day time in Manila, the heat is unbeatable and so you just have
to go with it. Light and thin clothes, sunnies and shorts are the
best solution to these dilemmas.

So this was me stopping my brother to take pictures.
It's time to head to the mall! :)

What do you think?
I hope you guys liked this outfit.

Dainty

I've finally worn a skirt and I don't look slutty at all. My hips make it hard for me to wear shorts/skirts because I instantly looks like a flirtatious b*atch (sorry for the word). I'm just glad that even with this skirt on, I can look delicate and pretty.
I do, right?  Don't I? Please just agree. Haha.

Can you also agree with me that my skirt is the highlight of this post? I'm proud to say that I bought it for Php 120 only. Talk about thrift dressing. My sweater is actually long enough that it can be a very mini dress. It's my moms. I'm glad the skirt has a shorts inside so I was able to tuck in the excess length of my top. Lovely! :)

Waiting In Vain

These are my shoes.

. . . and these are NOT.

But these are the choices my brother eyed for an hour because he can only choose one. I swear to my purple jeans that when it comes to shopping, he is more meticulous than me and my mother. He shops like a girl but I appreciate the fact that he carefully thinks and discerns on what he really wanted. Most of the time a votation happens because he cannot think of what to choose over the other. I'm also glad that he asks for my opinion. "Ate, anong mas maganda?"

Le big sister waited in vain because it's her brother's turn to shop.

I'm loving my purple jeans. The cam-whoring while
waiting for my brother is all because of the
PURPLE JEANS.
Thanks Ma! :)

One of the Last Few

This is but another OOTD, one I wore on one of my last few remaining "wash days" at school. 8 more Wednesdays (school days) mean 8 more chances to get into school without wearing my uniform. Time really flies because it was only like yesterday when I first attended college, gained a friend (now my best friend and my forever seatmate), gained a suitor, an achievement, a rumor, an enemy, and all other firsts I encountered in college.
Those 4 years felt like they were just a few months but what I cannot measure is the relationships I built, the friends I had and the memories we shared and most especially the experiences that I had which brought me new lessons and new perspectives.

Artwork: Shirt/Flats
Girbaud: Bag
Jag: Jeans
Bazaar Finds: Necklace

Tees, jeans, sling bags and glasses.

That's my most used clothes/things when I was a freshman. Wearing flats was an improvement because I used to wear sneakers. I dressed boyishly then but I feel comfortable. Today, I seldom wear a shirt but I still love how it functions. It's easy to pair with, comfortable and very simple :)

Dressed Up for Vegas

A person’s event visit would never be complete without his or her attire. People always put extra effort especially when attending birthdays, reunions and even Christmas parties.

I think every girl had been confronted of the dilemma that she has nothing to wear (when in fact there are a lot of clothes in her closet) She just want something new.

I won’t deny that I am guilty of what I’m saying. I always want to get dolled up and wear something that’s in style. However, most students (including me) face budget deficit. Here’s my secret and a glimpse of what I wore to Davao Bloggers Christmas party.

The bead works <3
Flash overload. So this is how I look when I'm tisay :P
I really appreciate my morena skin tone  though :)

This candy green textured gown with a very high slit and a daring back matched our Vegas themed party. I wanted to pair it gold accessories and a pair of gold pumps. . . silver would also do. However, I’d rather be simple than over do it or worse, go over my budget.

A glimpse of me at the party: Photos above are from Kuya Mike and Kuya Fra :)

I think I pulled of a simple, sexy and classy look. Here’s some shots where my boyfriend and I took advantage of the street lights after the party.

Hair and Make Up AND this DRESS for Php700 only
c/o Ate Mara :)

I hope I did justice to this dress.
Love lots,
